Restaurant Projects

Ferraris Restaurant

The practice was involved with a recent extension to a large local family run country house restaurant, which included a new Garden Room, Reception/Foyer, Bar, Meeting Room, Offices and toilets, all of which supplement the existing Restaurant and Function facilities. As part of these works, we also designed the Ceremonial Gazebo and Fountain Pavillion which integrates the inside of the restaurant and the external gardens and patios, making an attractive feature for wedding receptions and the like. As a result of the success of these works, we are currently looking at further additional works including a new covered main entrance structure as well as the introduction of guest bedroom accommodation.

Horns Inn

A well known local family run restaurant, approached the practice, with a view to us preparing feasibilities to look at ways of increasing and replanning their existing facilities to include, more dining space, function rooms and bedroom facilities, as well as associated external works for car parking and gardens. Phase one of the works has been completed and includes an extension to and remodelling of the kitchen areas; the replanning of the first floor dining facilities and the conversion of an existing barn to incorporate guest bedrooms. The practice also produced a master plan for further extensions and alterations to suit our clients thinkings.

The Longridge Restaurant (formerly Heathcotes)

The practice was involved with remodelling and creating a new extension to provide a new kitchen and additional dining areas to ‘Heathcotes’, the restaurant of the internationally known chef, Paul Heathcote, based in Longridge. Paul Heathcote and his restaurant, have featured regularly on television.

Waterwheel Restaurant

This restaurant was created by converting an existing mill on the banks of a stream in the centre of the historic village of Chipping. The waterwheel was retained as a feature and the external treatment of the buildings was designed to maintain the historic character of the building and the area.

Teal Bay Complex

A run down camp situated on the shore at Morecambe, was bought by a developer with a view to creating a Leisure Complex. This we planned to include Sports Halls and external sports facilities, a hotel and chalets as well bars and restaurants. We prepared detailed designs for the site and many of the buildings up to Planning Application stage. Phase one, the creation of a themed night club and bar, was completed.
