A project which has now received awards as an innovative resource centre for the local community. With a dedicated village group, we designed a new village hall with added facilities to enable wider use, and be more economically sustainable. This design helped them secure Lottery and European funding and is being used as a model for further village developments.
Working with community group to save and completely refurbish 48 Listed dwellings which the Local Authority sought to demolish.
A project co-ordinating the needs of the existing museum, the local church and the village to enlarge the museum and provide better access to the Roman Granary tourist attraction. We assisted in obtaining Lottery Heritage funding as well as other regional grants.
The conversion of a farmhouse and farm buildings into a religious residence, retreat and educational centre to serve the Preston Community.
We were involved in the early stage with the Goosnargh and Whittingham Society to obtain maximum benefits of sport, leisure and arts provision from a Planning Application by the NHS to provide 950 houses on a former hospital site. This is resulted in around £3/4 million funding as well as a central cricket ground and other land to develop a Community Trust controlled facility.
